A quick note on our shipping policy under the "stuff you normally wouldn't think of" category. A number of our kits contain windproof/waterproof matches and/or hexamine solid fuel tablets. UPS, our shipping partner (and other shipping partners for that matter) require these kits to be shipped by ground (surface) only since these items are classified as hazardous or flammable materials.
No big deal you'd think. Add to that the fact that our ecommerce platform doesn't allow products to be flagged and shipping rules associated with them, and we had a challenge on our hands.
At this time there is only one solution we can think of, namely all orders will ship via UPS Ground. This will add a couple of days to the shipping process - not the end of the world. We've waited a few years to have this product. We're hoping you don't mind waiting an extra day or two to receive yours!
