OTC Drug Product Recall: Iodine Prep Pad

H&P Industries, Inc. has issued a product recall for Iodine Prep Pads that are marketed under a number of brands (including Triad and Total Resources) and found in many commercially available first aid kits. The reason for the recall is possible contamination.

These Iodine Prep Pads are found in the GearPods® Health kit (KT-2) and the following multi-kits: Backcountry (MK-2), Wilderness (MK-3), Warden (MK-4), Rescue Solo (MK-5) and Frontier (MK-6).

Our Direct Customers (US and International)

If you purchased one of the products listed above from our on-line store, please remove these items from your kit immediately and destroy them to prevent their inadvertent use. You will automatically receive replacement Iodine Prep Pads from us shortly via USPS mail.

Dealer Customers (US)

If you purchased GearPods Backcountry or GearPods Wilderness from an authorized GearPods dealer, please remove these items from your kit immediately and destroy them to prevent their inadvertent use. Please email us with your details (referencing OTC Recall)  and we will mail you replacement Iodine Prep Pads straight away.
