Next week we're introducing a new as-yet-unnamed multi-kit system (see us on
FaceBook for a naming contest). Aside from being our most comprehensive kit to date, it has a few themes to it. It's shown here in olive drab and digital camo.

One such theme is that the system is designed to be used, and not just in emergencies. Thought was put into which kits will need to be accessed most often, but moreover the organization of the kits means that kits repack easily. Instead of nesting the survival kit inside the Stove System, the two are separated and the survival kit ships in the standard 4.5" GearPods container. In this configuration with a separate GearPods Survival kit, items are easily retrieved and there is room to add items. Another example is that the GearPods Adventure Tarp ships in a dedicated 4.5" container - plenty of room to repack the tarp. The other components in the GearPods Shelter system are replaced with dedicated kits for cordage and reflective bivy, GearPods Paracord and GearPods Bivy respectively.
Other multi-kit systems such as GearPods Backcountry are quite tightly packed. However there are several ways to create a more relaxed fit. One way is to simply attach a new GearPods container to the system and transfer items to it. "Travel" was designed into the end caps of GearPods Sleeves to allow for an additional GearPods container to be added and still fit within the Sleeve.
We'll keep you posted and delve a little more into this multi-kit system in the coming week.
